LATVIA - Riga


"Riga is the capital and the largest city of Latvia. With 643,368 inhabitants (January 2014), Riga is the largest city of the Baltic states and home to more than one third of Latvia's population.[5] The city lies on the Gulf of Riga, at the mouth of the Daugava. TURKEY - Saat Kulesi/Tophane, Bursa


"Bursa Clock tower, built during Sultan Abdul Aziz  in the 1900s and was destroyed at an unknown date.  In August 2, 1904, construction began again and completed on 31 August 1905. The structure is about  6-storey tall and 65 meters long and is at 4.65 meters." 



CHILE - Napa Nui

Always looking towards their territory, mohais protect it with the force of their look, from where the MANA (Mystical Force) flows.


"Rapa Nui National Park is a national park and UNESCO-inscribed World Heritage Site located on Easter Island, Chile. Rapa Nui is the Polynesian name of Easter Island; its Spanish name is Isla de Pascua. The island is located in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, at the southeastern extremity of the Polynesian Triangle. The island was taken over by Chile in 1888. Its fame and World Heritage status arise from the 887 extant stone statues known by the name "moai", whose creation is attributed to the early Rapa Nui people who inhabited the island around 300 AD. Much of the island has been declared as Rapa Nui National Park which, on 22 March 1996, UNESCO designated a World Heritage Site under cultural criteria."

UK - Derwent Lake

FINLAND - Pori

SLOVENIA - Kamnik



"Kamnik is a town in northern Slovenia. It is the central settlement of the Municipality of Kamnik. It encompasses a large part of the Kamnik Alps and the surrounding area. The town of Kamnik has ruins of two castles as well as many examples of historical architecture."


ONTARIO - Niagara Falls



"Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between Canada and the United States; more specifically, between the province of Ontario and the state of New York. They form the southern end of the Niagara Gorge."

QATAR - Aspire Tower, Doha



"The Aspire Tower, also known as Torch Hotel, is a 300-metre-tall (980 ft) skyscraper hotel located in the Doha Sports City complex in Doha, Qatar. Designed by architect Hadi Simaan and AREP and engineer Ove Arup and Partners, the tower served as the focal point for the 15th Asian Games hosted by Qatar in December 2006.
The Aspire Tower is currently the tallest structure and building in Doha and Qatar, but it is expected to be surpassed by the Dubai Towers Doha, which is set for completion late 2014 and the Barwa Tower."

UAE - Heritage & Originality

This a postcard swap that I had with Usman, my stamps partner from UAE, what a wonderful card from him.



Usman used a number of fine stamps for this card. The right stamp were 1 of 2 in  2011  Camel festival set and the left stamp were 1 of 2 in  Archeology in Jumeirah set issued in 2013.

SPAIN - Cala Ratjada Lighthouse



"The white lighthouse and its buildings at Cala Ratjada (or as the locals call it, Faro del Cap de Capdepera) was built in 1861. It proudly resides a 2 kilometer walk away from the town of Capdepera. It stands 58 meters above sea level so it is a bit of a climb, but well worth it once you have reached the top."

This is one of the biggest European castles by area."


SOUTH AFRICA - Central Hotel, Simon's Town


"Simon's Town, sometimes spelled Simonstown, is a town near Cape Town, South Africa, which is home to the South African Navy. It is located on the shores of False Bay, on the eastern side of the Cape Peninsula. For more than two centuries it has been an important naval base and harbour (first for the Royal Navy and now the South African Navy). The town is named after Simon van der Stel, an early governor of the Cape Colony."

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA - Banja Luka



"Banja Luka (Cyrillic: Бања Лука, Bosnian pronunciation: [bǎɲa lǔːka]) is the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the capital Sarajevo and is the largest city of Republika Srpska entity. Traditionally, it has been the center of the Bosanska Krajina region, located in the north-western part of the country. It is home of the University of Banja Luka, as well as numerous state and entity institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The city lies on the Vrbas river and is well known in the countries of the Former Yugoslavia for being full of tree-lined avenues, boulevards, gardens, and parks.

The area around Banja Luka is mostly woodland, although there are mountains a little further from the city. The city itself is built in the Banja Luka valley, which is located at the transition between high and low mountain areas. "

JAMAICA - Doctor's Cave Beach in the city of Montego Bay, Jamaica

MALDIVES - Ari Atoll



"Ari Atoll  is one of natural atolls of the Maldives. It is one of the biggest atolls and is located in the west of the archipelago. The almost rectangular alignment spreads the islands over an area of about 89x30 kilometres.

It has been divided in two sections for administrative purposes, Northern Ari Atoll and Southern Ari Atoll consisting of 105 islands. Ari Atoll is part of the zone designated for tourist development in the Maldives. It is roughly a 30 minute seaplane flight away from the Capital Malé. There are more than 20 islands in the Atoll designated for tourist resorts. Each island resort is self-contained with accommodation and recreational facilities."
