Huahine measures 16 km in length, with a maximum width of 13 km. It is made up of two main islands surrounded by a fringing coral reef with several islets, or motu. Huahine Nui (Big Huahine) lies to the north and Huahine Iti (Little Huahine) to the south. The two islands are separated by a few hundred yards of water and joined by a sandspit at low tide. A small bridge was built to connect Huahine Nui and Huahine Iti."

FRENCH POLYNESIA - Bora-Bora
Another new country for me, #120 from French Polynesia. Thank you Diana for sending me, my first card from the country. The card shows Bora-Bora Island.

The island, located about 230 kilometres (143 miles) northwest of Papeete, is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef. In the centre of the island are the remnants of an extinct volcano rising to two peaks, Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu."
