Royal Family of Liechtenstein

Thanks to Ruedi for the royal family card.

Reigning Prince Hans-Adam II and his wife Princess Marie (centre) surrounded by their four children. Clockwise from left: Prince Constantin, Princess Tatjana, Prince Maximilian and Prince Alois

"The name Liechtenstein was first mentioned in about 1136. Hugo von Liechtenstein probably took his name from Liechtenstein Castle, south of Vienna. The uninterrupted family line began with Heinrich I von Liechtenstein (who died in 1265/66)." Source

CHINA - Great Wall at Simatai

Thanks to Shonn for the card and great stamps.

"Simatai (Chinese: 司马台; pinyin: Sīmǎtái), a section of the Great Wall of China located in the north of Miyun County, 120 km northeast of Beijing, holds the access to Gubeikou, a strategic pass in the eastern part of the Great Wall.

The Simatai section of the Great Wall is one of the few sections to retain the original appearance of the Great Wall. It’s very varied in makeup. Simatai has many characteristics of other Great Wall sections, and some unique features of its own. It's the only section opened for a night tour.

The section was originally built during the Northern Qi dynasty (550–577) and rebuilt during the Hongwu Emperor's reign during the Ming dynasty. Simatai Great Wall is 5.4 km long with 35 beacon towers. This section of the Great Wall incorporated the different characteristics of each section of the Great Wall."

RUSSIA - The Bolshoi Theatre

I think this is the old picture showing Bolshoi Theatre judging from the vintage picture and their outfit.  I wonder what year was this picture taken!  Anyhow, this is a great card from postcrosser Daria.  Thank you so much for the card and wonderful stamps.

"The Bolshoi Theatre  is a historic theatre in Moscow, Russia, designed by architect Joseph Bové, which holds performances of ballet and opera. The theatre's original name was the Imperial Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow.

The Bolshoi Ballet and Bolshoi Opera are amongst the oldest and most renowned ballet and opera companies in the world. The main building of the theater, rebuilt and renovated several times during its history, is a landmark of Moscow and Russia (its iconic neoclassical facade is depicted on the Russian 100-ruble banknote)."

MONGOLIA - Otgontenger Mountain, Zavkhan

Another wonderful view of Mongolia, shows Otgontenger Mountain and the sky looks so blue and no cloud. So lovely..  Thank you so much Andrew for the card.

"Otgontenger (Mongolian: Отгонтэнгэр, lit. "youngest sky") is the highest peak in the Khangai Mountains in Mongolia. Its summit is currently calculated to reach an elevation of 4,008 meters above mean sea level (some earlier topographic maps record a maximum elevation of 4,021 m). The mountain is located in Zavkhan Province and is the only peak in the Khangai range that is capped with a permanent glacier. The south face of Mount Otgontenger is the most extensive granite wall in Mongolia."

AUSTRALIA - Blue Mountains

This is an official postcrossing card from Australia.

"The Blue Mountains is a mountainous region in New South Wales, Australia. It borders on Sydney's metropolitan area, its foothills starting about 50 kilometres west of the state capital. The public's understanding of the extent of the Blue Mountains is varied, as it forms only part of an extensive mountainous area associated with the Great Dividing Range. Officially the Blue Mountains is bounded by the Nepean and Hawkesbury Rivers in the east, the Coxs River and Lake Burragorang to the west and south, and the Wolgan and Colo Rivers to the north. Geologically, it is situated in the central parts of the Sydney Basin."

The sender used a beautiful Christmas Island stamp - year of the snake 2013 and and matching Blue Mountain Crossing 1813 stamps.
