MYANMAR - Inle Lake

Thank you Thitar for the nice card.

The card reads: Intha fishermen standing at the stern on a slender boat, rowing with one let on Inle Lake located at the heart of Shan state, 1500m above the sea level, Myanmar.

"Inle Lake  is a freshwater lake located in the Nyaungshwe Township of Taunggyi District of Shan State, part of Shan Hills in Myanmar (Burma). It is the second largest lake in Myanmar."

MYANMAR - Yangon

"Yangon is a former capital of Burma (Myanmar) and the capital of Yangon Region. Yangon is the country's largest city with a population of over five million, and is the most important commercial centre, although the military government officially relocated the capital to Naypyidaw in March 2006. Although Yangon's infrastructure is undeveloped compared to those of other major cities in Southeast Asia, it has the largest number of colonial buildings in the region today."
