"Mayen is a town in the district of Mayen-Koblenz of the Land (State) of Rhineland-Palatinate in the east of the volcanic Eifel region. As the city center, there are five suburbs that make Mayen: Alzheim, Kürrenberg, Hausen-Betzing, Hausen and Nitztal. Mayen is the administrative center of the collective municipality of Vordereifel, but by itself is not part of Vordereifel."
